San Marino Police Department Crime Report Nov. 19 – 25

A residence in the 1800 block of West Drive was burglarized at 9:35 a.m. on Nov. 23. Unknown suspects allegedly used burglary tools to enter through the second-story French doors of the home, which led into the master bedroom. The suspects then ransacked the room and fled.

Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle parked in the driveway of a vacant property in the 2300 block of Brentford Road at 6:50 p.m. on Nov. 25. Upon arrival, officers approached a man who was in the vehicle. A records check of the man revealed he was on probation for burglary. After the man and his vehicle were searched, empty pistol magazines, speed loaders and a pipe were found in his possession. He was issued a citation for paraphernalia.

A business in the 1000 block of Huntington Drive was burglarized after a glass door was reported shattered at 6:54 a.m. on Nov. 20. Security cameras captured three suspects entering the location and taking cash from the establishment.

The San Marino Police Department had 596 calls for service between Sunday, Nov. 19, and Saturday, Nov. 25. There were three residential burglaries in this time frame. There have been 44 residential burglaries reported so far this year. Information was gathered from a department memorandum summarizing key incidents handled during this period.
