Carver Elementary School held its Patriotic Spring Program on May 5 in Scrim Auditorium, with the theme “Carpe Diem: Seize the Day!”
After a warm welcome from Principal Stuart Caldwell, parents sat back to enjoy grade-level performances from 3rd-, 4th- and 5th-graders. Each group of students performed a rousing selection of patriotic songs and all grades featured poems, which were reflective of their grade-level’s particular theme.
During the program, the students captured the exciting spirit of adventure, one aspect of the American dream.
