Lynn McCarthy (née Carlough), of San Marino, California, passed away on June 21, 2023. Lynn, a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, is survived by her two children Brad and Alison, and five grandchildren.
Lynn was born and raised in New Jersey. After graduating from the University of Kentucky, Lynn moved to New York City and worked as a journalist. It was there that she met Luke. They married in 1973 and moved to California soon after.
Lynn was a resident and active community member in San Marino for over 40 years. She loved playing and watching tennis, hosting social gatherings with friends and family, and supporting her most beloved of charities, the Pasadena Guild of Children’s Hospital.
A Celebration of Life Service was held at San Marino Community Church on August 5, 2023.
