Two Armed Suspects On The Run
One West Bank, located at 900 Huntington Drive, was robbed by two armed suspects on Thursday, July 28. San Marino Police received the call at approximately 1:52 p.m. after the suspects had fled the scene.
A preliminary investigation identified that the two suspects were black males between the ages of 20 and 30.
One suspect is approximately five-feet nine-inches with a thin build. He wore a light colored long sleeve button down shirt and baseball hat with an unknown logo.
The other suspect has a heavy build. He wore a light colored shirt with tan shorts and a baseball hat.
Surrounding law enforcement agencies were notified and assisted with the search.
The suspects entered the bank via the front door. One suspect pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at a bank employee, while the other suspect jumped over the counter to remove currency from several bank drawers.
The suspects ran out the front doors and fled in a red SUV.
